Roy E. Walt, 89, a former longtime resident of Aurora, died in his daughter’s home in Garden Grove, Calif. Mr. Walt worked for the Burlington Northern Railroad for 30 years. After retiring from the railroad, he was employed by Bob Bollweg Plumbing Inc. of Wheaton. Survivors include a son, Richard; a daughter, Jacqueline Ruppel; 12 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren. Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Friday in the Daleiden Lake Street Mortuary, 220 N. Lake St., Aurora.
