Harold R. Boyd, 72, a World War II veteran, died Friday in Northwest Community Healthcare Center, Arlington Heights. Mr. Boyd, of Arlington Heights, was born in Rockford and served in the Navy. He worked for 47 years for TRW-Cinch and following his retirement from that company, Mr. Boyd worked another 11 years in the electronics department at a Venture store in Arlington Heights. Mr. Boyd is survived by his wife, Marian; a daughter, Karen Levin; a son, James; five grandchildren; a sister; and two brothers. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the Glueckert Funeral Home, 1520 Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights.
