Citizens will have one more chance to voice their thoughts on a proposed Algonquin bypass during a hearing Monday.
After more than a year of study, the Traffic Advisory Committee recently recommended construction of a $38 million western bypass around Algonquin. The committee was formed to recommend solutions to congestion at Illinois Highways 31 and 62.
County Highway Supt. Mike Magnuson said the meeting will include a presentation of the plan. The meeting will be held at 7 p.m. Monday in the conference room of McHenry County College, 8900 Illinois Highway 14, Crystal Lake.
