Mildred E. Dreyer, 89, of Mt. Prospect, who ran a greenhouse with her husband in Park Ridge for 30 years, died Thursday in her home. Mrs. Dreyer, a native of Morton Grove, lived in Mt. Prospect for 31 years. The greenhouse she ran with her late husband, August Dreyer, supplied wholesale businesses with fresh carnations, chrysanthemums, calla lilies and other flowers. After retiring, she became active in her church, St. Paul Lutheran in Mt. Prospect, working for church charities. Mrs. Dreyer also bowled on two women’s leagues. She is survived by her daughters, Doris Giustino and Ruth Betnar; two brothers and two sisters; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Visitation will be at 10 a.m. Monday in St. Paul Lutheran Church, 100 S. School St., Mt. Prospect, until a service is held at 11 a.m.
