Restoration efforts in forest preserves will be the topic of the Thorn Creek Audubon Society meeting at the Park Forest Library.
Jerry Sullivan, outreach naturalist for the Forest Preserve District of Cook County, will be the guest speaker.
In addition to discussing a current project to keep and protect animals in the preserves, Sullivan will illustrate how forest and woodland areas pose restoration problems.
