Dorothy A. Schaefer, 93, of McHenry died Monday in Valley Hi Nursing Home near Woodstock. Mrs. Schaefer is survived by two daughters, Marilyn Harrison and Elaine “Sue” Nell; nine grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in Peter M. Justen Colonial Funeral Home, 3807 W. Elm St., McHenry. Mass will be said at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in St. Mary of the Assumption Church, 1401 N. Richmond Rd., McHenry.
