I think senior citizens everywhere were shaking in their boots as they watched the siege and capture of Shirley Allen of Roby, Ill. What is to prevent any disgruntled stepchild from re-enacting this same brutal scene?
Now that Mrs. Allen will be locked up in a mental institution (for no person can undergo such a traumatic experience and test as normal), the stepdaughter can be custodian of her property, sell it and live happily ever after.
Shame on this family. Shame on the authorities who caused this to happen.
