Dorothy E. Walla, 89, of Naperville, former national president of Psi Delta Sigma sorority, died Saturday in Edward Hospital, Naperville. Mrs. Walla lived in Ohio from 1949 until 1994, when she moved to Naperville. She attended Northwestern University during 1934 and 1935 and then served as the national president of Psi Delta Sigma Sorority in 1936 and 1937. She was a homemaker and served as a volunteer at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Dayton. She was an avid golfer and bridge player who loved to read, said her daughter, Nancy Loomis. Other survivors include her husband, Leroy D.; a son, David; seven granddaughters; and three great-granddaughters. Services were private.
