Mark G. Gray Sr., 71, a longtime Hickory Hills resident and an electrician for more than 30 years, died Friday in his home. After he retired, Mr. Gray spent his time volunteering at Palos Community Hospital in Palos Heights. Born in Detroit, Mr. Gray served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and the Korean War. Mr. Gray was a member of Moose Lodge 44 of Chicago, Masons of Illinois Lodge 171 and National LSM Association. Survivors include his wife, Dorothy; three daughters, Darcee Brown, Laurie May and Wendy Gray; a son, Mark Jr.; two half-brothers; and five grandchildren. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday in The Hills Funeral Home, 10201 S. Roberts Road, Palos Hills.
