AAR Corp. reported its fiscal second-quarter net income rose 63 percent, to $8.4 million, or 46 cents per share, from $5.1 million, or 32 cents per share, in the year-earlier period, when fewer shares were outstanding.
The Wood Dale-based supplier of aviation products and services said revenue for the quarter, ended Nov. 30, rose 33 percent, to $180.1 million from $135.7 million.
For the first half of the fiscal year, AAR said net income rose 57 percent, to $15.7 million, or 86 cents per share, from $10 million, or 62 cents per share. Revenue rose 29 percent, to $351.1 million from $271.7 million.
