Stanley E. McDonagh, 84, a metal polisher, died Saturday in his home in Hoffman Estates. He was a veteran of World War II, where he served in the military police of the U.S. Army’s 40th Infantry Division. Mr. McDonagh is survived by a daughter, Deborah Thompson, and two grandsons. Visitation will be from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Monday in Ahlgrim & Sons Funeral Home, 330 W. Golf Rd., Schaumburg. A service will follow at 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
