I read with chagrin that a man riding in a car had a woman arrested for–get this–“assault with a roast beef sandwich” after she threw the sandwich at him from her car (Metro, Dec. 2).
What the report failed to mention: Was it on a hard roll? Or if the judge is health conscious, perhaps he will consider this a cholesterol-laden missile, thus “assault with a deadly weapon.”
