As I listen to the supporters of Latrell Sprewell, I wonder if they are confusing reality with the surreal aspects of grown men paid large sums of money to play a game. Unfortunately, Sprewell has shown little remorse for his actions and has spent much effort trying to convince the public his behavior in some way can be considered rational. Sprewell and his defenders must realize that the public would be happy to tolerate incompetent management for $8 million a year.
