Conrad Schott Sr., 82, of Marengo, died Sunday at Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge. He was a World War II Army veteran, serving in the Battle of the Bulge. He was a member of the Midwest Chapter 78th Infantry and Kankakee American Legion. He was an accountant and retired from Swift & Company/Esmark in 1981 after 50 years of service. Mr. Schott is survived by his wife, Lois; two sons, Charles and Conrad IV; and four grandchildren. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. Wednesday until the 11 a.m. funeral service at the Marengo United Methodist Church, 119 E. Washington St.
