Mary E. Kavanaugh, 88, a retired Chicago Public Schools teacher, died Monday in her Oak Lawn home. She taught elementary school for 40 years and retired in 1974 from Warren Elementary School. She is survived by two brothers, David and George. Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Thursday in Blake-Lamb Funeral Home, 4727 W. 103rd St., Oak Lawn. Mass will be said at 10:30 a.m. Friday in St. Germaine Catholic Church, 4240 W. 98th St., Oak Lawn.
