A British visitor to Calgary

was charged with causing a disturbance after he streaked nude across the ice at the Canadian Airlines Saddledome on Jan. 9 during a hockey game.

Police officials said a stark naked Julian Vaudrey, 21, surprised more than 17,000 hockey fans when he climbed over the boards and interrupted an NHL game between the Calgary Flames and the Florida Panthers with 1:22 remaining in overtime.

Vaudrey pranced around the ice surface unimpeded for several minutes before Saddledome security officials appeared and police took him into custody.

He was returned to England, police said.
