Members of the Elk Grove High School pompon squad are raising funds to buy new dancewear through the Shop & Share program offered at area Jewel Food Stores.
Shoppers buying groceries at one of the stores on Feb. 2, 3, or 4 can request that 5 percent of the dollar amount of their purchases, excluding tax, be donated to the pompon squad.
To participate, shoppers must present an identification form, which can be obtained by calling the squad sponsor, Laura Longano, at 847-718-4438.
