Village trustees have approved a $550,000 loan to pay for furniture, equipment and additional construction of Steger’s recreation center.
Trustee Jim Johnson, the board’s liaison to the village Recreation Board, said Steger has 20 years to repay the loan from a local bank that was approved Monday.
Johnson said the facility will be completed by late April.
