In its efforts to diversify beyond classical music, Symphony Center is presenting “A Cabaret Evening with Andrea Marcovicci,” a veritable marathon of classy entertainment. The evening begins with a dinner at 5:30 p.m. Monday in Symphony Center’s restaurant, Rhapsody. At 8 p.m., Marcovicci, one of the most gifted and insightful interpreters of the classic American pop song, will present her show in Symphony Center’s Orchestra Hall. “A Cabaret Nightcap” will follow Marcovicci’s concert and will feature the rising Chicago singer Stephanie Browning and her quintet in Symphony Center’s Rotunda. Finally, Rhapsody will be open for a post-concert soiree. Tickets can be bought for any of these segments or for the entire package; call 800-223-7114 or 312-294-3000.
