Robert J. Kaiser, 75, owner of Edward Kaiser & Sons home builders and a Palatine resident, died Thursday in Houston. After Army service during World War II, Mr. Kaiser began to work in the family’s carpentry business in Chicago, where he learned to build houses from his father. He later took over the business, which specialized in building houses and remodeling the interiors of existing homes. Survivors include a son, Robert; two daughters, Linda Seitz and Judith; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Ahlgrim & Sons Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Highway, Palatine.
