At a time when so many letters are full of Monicas, Bills, Harrys, Paulas, Saddams, et. al., I feel the need to add the name of Lynn . . . as in Johnston.
She is responsible for that marvelous and true-to-life comic strip “For Better or for Worse.”
More than anyone else on those two Tempo pages, Ms. Johnston never fails to capture the laughs, tears and frustrations of love, marriage, life, death, sibling rivalry, etc., in a way that truly covers the gamut of human emotions that we all experience at one time or another.
Kudos to Ms. Johnston. May she continue to tweak our emotions and egos for many years to come–for better or for worse.
