In response to Marian Kurzdorfer’s letter about foul language in “Good Will Hunting” (“Dirty dialogue,” Voice, March 18): Obviously Ms. Kurzdorfer knows nothing about film or language. There was no gratuitous foul language in this film, and she should be able to figure out that film is an art and that art is whatever the artist’s vision is.
Matt Damon and Ben Affleck made the best movie of the year, and if all Ms. Kurzdorfer could do while watching the movie was count the number of times the “f” word was used, she missed the entire point of the film.
