Douglas Gibson, 20, of 15802 S. Orlan Brook Drive, Orland Park, was charged Tuesday with domestic battery as well as interfering with the reporting of domestic violence, driving with a suspended license and unlawful possession of cannabis. Gibson is accused of hitting and kicking a woman. Police said he fled the scene of the incident on Monday and then failed to comply with police requests to come in for questioning. He is scheduled to appear in court May 13.
