Mathilda Schopp, 92, a longtime resident of Aurora, died Tuesday in Tennessee. Born in Aurora, Mrs. Schopp worked for several manufacturing firms in Aurora before her retirement in 1974. She was a member of Holy Angels Church in Aurora and of the St. Anne Society in Aurora. She moved to Henderson, Tenn., in 1996, to be near family members. She is survived by sons, Wayne, John, Earl, Dale, Ronald and Edward; daughters Patricia Rouse and Rose Cheeslow; 30 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. Services will begin at 9:30 a.m. Friday at the Daleiden Lake Street Mortuary, 220 N. Lake St., Aurora, followed by a 10 a.m. mass at Holy Angels Church, North Lancaster and Hardin Avenue, Aurora.
