Elaine E. Kramer, 72, of Palatine died Sunday in her home. She was an administrative secretary in the product support department at Northrop Grumman Corp., Rolling Meadows. She retired in 1993 after 19 years of service. She was born in Chicago. “She was a very precise woman,” said Judith Bussard, a colleague at Northrop Grumman. “Everything she did had to be done just right. Her work had to be perfect,” Bussard said. “She was a sweet lady. Everybody here knew her and liked her.” Survivors include two sons, Michael L. and Randall J.; a sister, Ada Waisnor; and six grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 3 p.m. until the time of services at 8 p.m. Thursday in Ahlgrim and Sons Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Highway, Palatine.
