Richard E. Huber, 70, of Arlington Heights retired in 1987 from the foreign exchange trading department at the main downtown branch of First National Bank of Chicago, after 33 years of service. Mr. Huber, who was born in Springfield, and served in the Army in World War II, died Monday in Northwest Community Hospital, Arlington Heights. “He was my first boss when I came to work for First National in 1980,” said former bank employee Kris Rull. “At that time he ran the operations portion of the foreign exchange trading department.” Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Mary Ellen; two daughters, Eileen Hendrickson and Lynne Kopp; two sons, Robert and Richard; and seven grandchildren. Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. Thursday in Glueckert Funeral Home, 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights. Prayers will be said at 9:30 a.m. Friday in the funeral home, followed by a mass at 10 a.m. in St. James Catholic Church, 831 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights.
