James E. Ryan, 61, a security officer, died Thursday in Evanston Northwestern Healthcare Glenbrook Hospital, Glenview. A native of Chicago, Mr. Ryan lived in Prospect Heights. He was a security officer at Glenbrook South High School for 19 years. There were no immediate survivors. Services will be private.
