Gregory Long, 83, of Woodstock died Wednesday in Memorial Medical Center, Woodstock. Mr. Long was in the banking business for many years in Chicago. He was a veteran of World War II, where he served in the U.S. Army. Mr. Long is survived by a son, Gregory S.; a grandchild; and two great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday, with a liturgical wake service at 4 p.m., in Schneider-Leucht-Merwin & Cooney Funeral Home, 1211 N. Seminary Ave., Woodstock. Mass will be said at 10 a.m. Monday in St. Mary Catholic Church, 312 Lincoln Ave., Woodstock.
