William H. Scanlan, 89, of Schaumburg, a retired worker in the tool room at Senior Flexonics Inc., Bartlett, a metal manufacturing company, died Friday in Columbia Hoffman Estates Medical Center. Mr. Scanlan retired in 1976. Mr. Scanlan, a native of Chicago, was a former secretary-treasurer of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers Local 1557, Bartlett. Survivors include a son, William; two daughters, Patricia Schultz and Carrie Scanlan; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
