Larry Lewis, 22, of 15729 Dixie Highway, Harvey, was charged Friday with battery, criminal trespass to property and criminal damage to property. Police said Lewis entered the apartment of a female friend in the 9300 block of Hunter Drive and repeatedly hit another male visitor. Police said Lewis then chased the victim to his car and jumped on top of it reaching the man through the vehicle’s sunroof and striking him in the head while he drove. Lewis eventually fell off the moving vehicle and the incident was reported to a passing patrol car by the victim.
