Superior Services Inc. of West Allis, Wis., agreed to acquire solid-waste company GeoWaste Inc. for about $56 million in stock, or $2.65 a share. GeoWaste, a St. Augustine, Fla.-based company with annual revenues of about $24 million, has its principal assets in southern Georgia and north-central Florida. Superior operates 21 solid-waste landfills, 41 collection facilities and 15 recycling plants.
