Alan R. Meyer, 61, of Glendale Heights died Wednesday in Rush-Presbyterian St. Luke’s Medical Center in Chicago. A Chicago native, Mr. Meyer was a retired postal worker. He served in the Army. Survivors include his wife, Mickie; a son, Kenneth; a daughter, Kimberly Bradner; two stepdaughters, Lisa and Nicole; a brother, Eugene; a sister, Patricia Crounse; and five grandchildren. Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Friday in the Cypress Funeral Home, 1698 N. Bloomingdale Rd., Glendale Heights. Services will begin at 9:30 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home, followed by a mass at 10 a.m. in St. Matthew Catholic Church, 1555 Glen Ellyn Rd., Glendale Heights.
