A town meeting will be held this week to discuss the reliability of electric power in the south and southwest suburbs.
State Senate candidate Pam Woodward, a Democrat from Frankfort, will host the town meeting.
Joining Woodward in her invitation to hear the concerns of area residents are state Sens. Louis Viverito (D-Burbank) and Debbie Halvorson (D-Crete), state Rep. Kevin McCarthy (D-Orland Park), Illinois House candidate Scott Pyles and Orland Hills Mayor Kyle Hastings.
Woodward said the group is looking to area consumers for suggestions for legislative action to prevent service problems.
