Clarence E. Shallow, 78, of Carol Stream, died Wednesday in Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield. Born in Chicago, Mr. Shallow was a supply manager for a park district. He also served in the Army infantry during World War II and was stationed in Papua New Guinea. Survivors include his wife, Eileen; a daughter, Carole Sendziol; four sons, John, Tom, Dennis and Alan; two brothers, Michael and John; and seven grandchildren. Prayer services will be held at 9:45 a.m. Saturday in Brust Funeral Home, 415 N. Gary Ave., Carol Stream. Mass will be said at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in Resurrection Catholic Church, Army Trail Road and Illinois Highway 59, Wayne.
