In Amanda Vogt’s article “Bleacher Bums: `I went to a party and a baseball game broke out’ ” (Tempo, July 27), I was misquoted as saying, “These (bleacher) people are the real fans, not those folks in the boxes.”
As publisher and editor of the “Bleacher Banter” newsletter, and as a former “box-seat person,” my devotion to the Cubs and their fans is not limited to the bleachers.
