David N. Daisley, 68, an accomplished Lake Michigan sailor and retired employee of Merrill Lynch, died Monday in his Hinsdale home. Born in Des Moines, Mr. Daisley graduated from Morgan Park Military Academy in Chicago and the University of Iowa. His career with Merrill Lynch spanned 42 years as did his residency in Hinsdale. He was a sergeant in the Army, serving in counterintelligence. Mr. Daisley was a past president of Sigma Nu fraternity, Committee 100 and the Street Club of Chicago. Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Roberta; a son, David; three daughters, Lori Adams, Melissa and Nancy; a brother, Edwin; a sister, Jane Riley; and two grandsons. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday in Elliston Funeral Home, 1st and Grant Streets, Hinsdale. Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday in Grace Episcopal Church, 120 E. 1st St., Hinsdale.
