Lorraine I. Cavanaugh, 78, a homemaker from Addison, died Tuesday in Alexian Brothers Medical Center in Elk Grove Village. Mrs. Cavanaugh was born in Chicago. Survivors include a daughter, Carol Chernovsky; a son, Collin; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a sister, Lillian McCardie. Services will at 9:30 a.m. Thursday in The Oaks Funeral Home, 1201 E. Irving Park Rd., Itasca, followed by a mass at 10 a.m. in Holy Ghost Catholic Church, 254 N. Wooddale Rd., Wood Dale.
