Thomas E. Reinwand, 74, of McHenry, and formerly of Crystal Lake, died Aug. 12 in Northern Illinois Medical Center in McHenry. Mr. Reinwand was a longtime resident of Crystal Lake before moving to McHenry. He had worked for many years as a dry cleaner at Elsner’s Dry Cleaners in Cary. Before that, he had worked as a mechanic. Mr. Reinwand also wrote service orders for Pauly Ford in Barrington and many other Ford dealerships. He was a veteran of World War II, having served in the Marine Corps. Survivors include two brothers, William and John; and a sister, Mary Goldman. Services were private.
