Sharon E. Hynds, 57, of Des Plaines, an executive secretary in the hotel industry. died Monday in Rush North Shore Medical Center in Skokie. Mrs. Hynds, a native of Chicago, formerly lived in Hoffman Estates, Glenview and Chicago’s Edison Park neighborhood. Survivors include her husband, Doug; a son, Brian; a daughter, Kim Kurkiewicz; and her father Philip Cerbin. Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. Friday in Suerth Funeral Home, 6754 N. Northwest Highway, Chicago. A mass will be said at noon Saturday in St. Juliana Catholic Church, 7201 N. Oketo Ave., Chicago.
