Charles E. Yost, 89, of Lombard died Friday in Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove. Born in Chicago, Mr. Yost was a bus driver for the Chicago Transit Authority. Survivors include his wife, LaVerne St. Lawrence; two daughters, Carol Cottone and Judith Heil; four grandchildren; and a great-grandson. Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in Knollcrest Funeral Home, 1500 S. Meyers Rd., Lombard. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in St. John Lutheran Church, 7214 Cass Ave., Darien.
