Edra L. Schmidt, 75, of Naperville died Thursday in Edward Hospital in Naperville. Mrs. Schmidt was an Avon representative for 22 years and a member of the Alliance for the Mentally Ill of DuPage County. Her community service also included work as a 4-H leader and assisting in the DuPage County Fair. Survivors include her husband, Waldemar “Wally”; two daughters, Walena Schmidt and Florence Landorf; two sons, Harlan and Charles; three sisters, Mabel Strnad, Florence Matyas and Leona Milanko; a brother, William Snider; and five grandchildren. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday in Beidelman-Kunsch Funeral Home, 117 W. Van Buren St., Naperville. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Bethany Lutheran Church, 1550 Modaff Rd., Naperville.
