Preconstruction sales are under way for Washington Square, a six-story loft condominium building to be built at 1301 W. Washington Blvd. in Chicago.
Washington Square, which is being developed by Spectrum Home Builders, will feature 41 residences priced from $142,900 to $399,000. Monthly assessments will range from $102 to $250. The units will range from 957 square feet for one-bedroom, 1 1/2-bath plans to 2,063 square feet for three-bedroom, two-bath duplex designs.

– Eight residences remain for sale at Ruffled Feathers Townhomes, a golf course community approaching closeout that is being developed in southwest suburban Lemont by Flaherty Construction.

– Gallery 400, a high-rise and mid-rise loft condominium development at 400 W. Ontario St. in Chicago’s River North neighborhood, is celebrating the opening of its sales center with open houses 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
The new center will feature a scale model of the development and a look at the more than 40 floor plans available in the two buildings. A design center will also showcase the community’s standard and upgrade options.
Plans at Gallery 400 call for 102 condominiums in an existing seven-story mid-rise at 420 W. Ontario and in a new high-rise to be built at 400 W. Ontario.
The mid-rise features two-bedroom units with exposed brick walls and ductwork, a balcony or roof deck, two baths, and den/storage rooms. They range from 1,000 to 2,000 square feet and are priced from $194,900 to $350,000.

– The second building at Laurel Place, a condominium project in east Lake Forest, is nearing completion and will be available for October occupancy.
