There is a rumor going around about changing the driving age from 16 to 18 years of age.

With this change, if a teenager joined the work force to help provide for the family, he or she would be dependent on others for transportation to and from work.

A person’s driving ability should be determined by how that person does on the driving examination and not by age. A person who is 16 can drive just as well as a person who is 18.
