Tommy Tune, having spent years on Broadway, is trying his luck in Vegas and will take over the lead role in the “EFX” show at the MGM Grand hotel-casino.
Tune, 59, a nine-time Tony Award winner, replaces David Cassidy in January as star of the special-effects extravaganza. He will play himself, and the show has been changed to showcase his tap dancing and singing.
