William Schoepke, 69, of Woodstock, co-founder and co-operator of Tidy Carpets & Rugs in Woodstock for more than 30 years, died Sunday in his home. Born in Woodstock, Mr. Schoepke served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was a member of VFW Post 5040 in Woodstock and a member of Walleye’s Unlimited fishing club. Survivors include his wife, Deborah; a daughter, Sara Nulle; two sons, William Steven and Keith; six grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, and services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Schneider-Leucht-Merwin-Cooney Funeral Home, 1211 N. Seminary Ave., Woodstock.
