The Fellowship of Christian Athletes is asking chapters in 7,100 public schools to circulate petitions for campus reconciliation as a tribute to victims in the Littleton, Colo., school killings.
The student pledge is named for Cassie Bernall, a Fellowship of Christian Athletes member who was one of the students killed at Columbine High School by two schoolmates.
The petitions ask pledges to treat fellow students with respect and dignity.
