Michael Hailey, 78, of Woodstock, a retired chef, died Monday in Vencor Hospital in Sycamore. After serving in the Navy during World War II, he worked as a chef in McHenry County for more than 50 years. He was employed at various restaurants, including the Old Mill Inn in Wonder Lake. Mass will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in St. Mary Catholic Church, 312 Lincoln Ave., Woodstock.
