A 36-year-old local man told police a man lunged at him with an 8-inch knife near State Street and Frazier Avenue about 2:45 p.m. Tuesday, police said. The victim told police the knife-wielding man jumped out of a white, late-model Cadillac or Buick and threatened to kill him, police said. The man was not injured.
