A painter working inside La Hacienda Restaurant, 1 S. Wolf Rd., apparently surprised a would-be burglar about 2 a.m. Wednesday, police said. The painter said a black-clad intruder ran away after prying open a rear door and confronting him inside the restaurant, police said.
