Louise L. Greenberg, 81, of Palatine died Saturday in Lexington Health Care Center, Lake Zurich. Mrs. Greenberg retired in 1984 as an insurance underwriter, most recently with the former Quinlan & Tyson real estate and insurance agency in Evanston, after 35 years of service. Mrs. Greenberg was also a part-time retail sales clerk in the infant’s and toddler’s clothing department at the former Evanston Marshall Field’s from 1967 to 1984. Her daughter Candace Hayes said: “She was strong-willed. She was a perfectionist in all she did.” Other survivors include two daughters, Suzanne Nellessen and Mary Beth Rodger; two sisters, Larena Aiken and Dorothy Dehmlow; 13 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. A service will begin at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in St. Matthew Lutheran Church, 720 Dundee Ave., Barrington.
